Roasting Instructions

Whole Chickens

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F

  2. For added flavor brush on your favorite oil and/or dry spice blend

  3. Place breast side up in a roasting pan with 1/2 cup water in bottom of pan

  4. Place roasting pan in pre-heated oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until a minimum temperature of 165'F is reached in the thickest part of the thigh

Air Fryer Instructions

There are lots of options and recipes when it comes to cooking chicken in an air fryer! If you have a recipe you already use, there’s not much you need to change to cook our heritage chicken other than to note that our chicken is a little leaner since our chickens are more active. NOTE: Always make sure to reach a minimum temperature of 165°F for safety

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

  1. Make sure the chicken is defrosted

  2. Pre-heat air fryer to 375°F

  3. Add your favorite seasoning

  4. Cooking Times PER side:

    • Small ( approx. 5 to 7 ounces): 7 to 10 minutes

    • Medium-Large (approx. 8 to 10 ounces): 10 to 12 minutes

Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

  1. Make sure the chicken is defrosted

  2. Pre-heat air fryer to 400°F

  3. Add your favorite seasoning

  4. Cook at 400°F for 12 minutes, then flip and cook for another 12 minutes

Chicken Wings

  1. Make sure your wings are defrosted

  2. Pre-heat air fryer to 400°F

  3. Add your favorite seasonings

  4. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, then FLIP and cook for another 8-10 minutes, depending on desired crispiness
